The House

This restored cottage is south facing and has approximately 6 acres of land, mainly wooded, part of which borders the river at the foot of the valley.

Set into the hillside at an altitude of 700 metres with magnificent views of the surrounding countryside and with virtually all the rooms south facing.

The grounds,which are partly terraced, but mainly steep, contain various fruit trees including kiwi, peaches, figs, apples, pears and a grapevine to name a few.

This peaceful and relaxing location, which is secluded but not isolated, is ideal for those who enjoy being close to nature with numerous species of birds and other wildlife including deer, wild boar and red squirrels.

The cottage has retained many of its original
features such as exposed beams and wooden floors.It also has its own supply of natural spring water.


The interior has been furnished to a high standard.In addition to the 2 log burning fires all rooms have electric heating.
